How can I find you?
Hebron United Methodist Church is located in Hebron at the corner of Church and Washington Streets. We’re located a block south and a block west of the traffic light at Routes 231 and 8, or just a block south of the Post Office and Library.
Ok, now that I’ve found you, where do I park?
Parking is available around all the church, both in front and to the east of the church building, and along the streets here at our corner. You can also use the parking at Alyea Park next door. We park in the grass in the empty lot across from the church, and you can too.
What times are your services?
Our worship service is on Sunday at 9:45am.
Is there Sunday School?
Yes, we have Sunday School classes for children preschool through high school and we also offer adult Sunday school. Classes begin at 8:45 am.
Then what about babysitting?
We have a staffed nursery during both services for children 4 years and younger. For ages K-6th grade, we offer Activity Time during the worship service. The children sit with their parents for the first part of the service, then are released (if they wish) to attend Activity Time during the second half of the service.
How long does the service last?
The Service and Sunday School each last about an hour.
Do I have to dress up?
Wear what’s comfortable. Some people dress up, and others are more casual in jeans. We just want you to come and worship and feel at home.
How often is Communion and do I have to be a member of your church?
Communion is usually the first Sunday of the month, and is also served on Christmas Eve and other special occasions. Our Communion is open to everyone. Adults and children, members, regular attendees and guests who wish to respond to the invitation to come to the Lord’s Table are welcomed.
